This was taken at the Blackeyed Pea Restaurant, as they bailed me out of jail, and paid the attorney, and threw a huge party,
with all the press there, and Bert Reynolds showed up.
Who am I? Just the first 5 minutes of the video above is about me.
I just released, and my arms are spread out, to increase my head to fall backwards, as I am tied to the cord by my feet, and my hands touched the ground.
Two more feet, and I would have broke my neck. This was done with the hotel management, and we all had passes.
I proposed to grab a banner on the ground during the New Years Party they have every year, but the insurance turned us down.
If you are looking for the webmaster then keep reading.
I am cutting fire wood because we are going to have a fire on the beach tonight and I am going to do a fire dance!
"Fire Poi Dancing" The Gluten Free Peach Cobbler roasted in the fire and Ice Cream are almost ready! If I can just get these torches to go out.
I was agout 56 floors up, and the parachute was inside my backpack, no way to pu it on until I finish the climb.
It was very complicated going around the corners, as I was going all the way around the building as well as up it. That seemed like more fun. I called it circlesurfacskating. I think I am the only Circlesurfaceskater in the world.
Odd things I do. I must watch my weight, because I skydive, climb Hang glide, Para sail, and bungee jump, and some other things, and my weight is very important as I have my equipment designed for my weight, and when I do close call jumps I touch the ground with my hands hanging by my feet from 330 feet up. I cannot be one pound over 180. I must watch my diet, and I love Ice Cream and Chocolate... I cannot have ether, as I gain weight fast. I can eat anything all I want but Ice cream. I want to be Vegan, but Ice Cream... so I buy 6 bananas let them start to get dark ripe, and chop them up, ¼ lb of Peanut butter and 1/8lb of Smuckers Strawberry or Apricot Jam ½ a pineapple very very very ripe going bad skin and all cut up same with the bananas that is you nutrients. Then lightly mix it, freeze in small servings.
They dropped a cable and wanted me to hook into it, but I refused. The back pack has a parachute in it, but it was not in any way attached to me,
as I knew they would be inspecting my gear, and wondered what was inside. They had a professional skydiver policeman, come look at my gear from
inside the glass about 20 floors up that morning, and he said "he is not a skydiver, and all his gear is homemade, and made from light weight fabric.
He does not have a parachute, and not sure what is in the pack, and the harness was hand sown, and could not support a parachute openning anyway".
If I fell, there would be no way to get the risers out, and attach before I hit the ground. I am the only person that has ever scalled a glass building,
with suction cups, and no safty line. When I was making the gear, and I expected someone else would do this before I could finish my gear,
and practice. I climbed the building at night once, but just streight up, and jumped before daylite for practice. Then when I did this for real
the next month May 16 1983 I went all the way around the building as I went up. The board was a platform for me to stand on as I put on the parachute,
and unattach the suction cups, and tie them to my waist. I called this "circlesefaceskating". The board had my climb schedual where I had to be at what
time to be sure I was in the right place at 5:00 pm, so this was happening at the news hour. That is why every image looks like I am going around a
corner. I am sure this confused people on the ground, thinking "where is he going?, why does he not just climb streight up?, Does he not know it will
take him twice as long to get to the top?". I took 6 hours streight up, and 16 hours to go around.
Have you ever felt like jumping out of the 50th story window, I have, and It was fun. How I love open windows,
it lets the air blow in. I like to get some air.
This was 1500 foot Radio Tower in Cider Hils TX. I have about 100 jumps from this tower. This was easy close and only 35 minute climb.
I also climb this 2900 foot long cable, and Time Magazine was there with a helicoper, and came in so close the blades were above my head, I turned upside down, and waved to
them about 1500 feet up the cable.
They wanted to do a story, but offered $3000, and my mom said do not take the offer, as they will pay ten times that one day soon.
USAF
That all sounds right. I am an artist in many areas from flying to diving to metal working and painting I am an artist. My IQ was over 200 when the Air Force tested me, they said I aced every test and they have never had anyone do that before. I got extra pay, and more rank that same day, then they wanted me to change career field from jet engine mechanic to nuclear duties. I was able to pick any base in the world to serve at. I asked. "Does that include Hawaii", and the he said yes, just sign right here, and I did. I got back to my squad who for weeks are upset with me, because the whole squad go to the range to shoot guns and run the obstetrical courses, and I go somewhere else to do more testing. I am laying in bed when the squad comes back at the end of the day all dirty and tired. I look like just got up. Then the last week I am told I will be going to Hawaii with two stripes, and that did not go over well, even the Sargent said that is bs, no one is doing that, and you orders will be here next week and we will see then. I was starting to think I was being lied to by someone, and very confused. Then my orders came. The Sargent called me into his office, and said Dam, your more important than me, they gave you a Top Secret clearance, stripes and you are going to Hawaii. I think I was the only one who was happy that day. I spent two full years in Hawaii, and loved every second. I still work with the US Air Force, but by contract.
Seek the Creator and there you will find a Righteous Man
When I first did my first EOD run, the Tech Sargent, said we need a row of compC down the whole row off 1000 lbs bombs, so climb on the bombs.
So I did, and he turned to me, and through 2 lbs of CompC at me, and I almost pissed myself trying to catch them. Everyone laughed!
I finished the row, and then took this picture. If you look close there is a 1 lb block of CompC with a detonator wired on it, and he is
standing on white Phophorous warheads, lined with compC. I thought that was crazy, but they have been doing it this way for years.
My parachute opened 20 feet from the ground!
Phil Smith took this picture, one the founders of BASE. This is the tower on San Felipi, and I made 7 jumps off this in one night once.
the WMV file is larger

I had this on a video on youtube for the past 12 years, and last week they took it down, probable the John Denver song I had used.
I hve looked high and low for a copy in my stuff, but I have not fornd it yet. I will find it, just need to get my 20 hard drives I have stored,
as I have copied of almost everyone of them, so I will find it. When I do I will replace this long sentence with the video.
That is a streight8 hangging on my rope by-the-way.
I have over 300 Bungee jumps from over 300 feet.
This was a really fun place! In 1995 A friend wanted to bungee jump, and at that time I had no where I could do it at.
I said I know one place that might work, but we would need to find a way to pull you up with the truck and a steel cable, through a pully mounted under
the bridge, and make a mount for the bungee cord. I grabbed what I needed to go make a test jump, and drove there about 50 miles from the house.
We could not park on the bridge, so we carried the gear to the highest point. I dropped a wire with a 5 oz weight, and measured the distance to the
ground. I calculated the length, for a 72 foot drop, on paper, then we measured the cord, and marked the spot in red marker.
I wrapped the cord around the gaurdrail 3 times with a pair of welding gloves protecting the cord, from the gaurdrail, and said hold this tight,
and do not let go until I am off the cord, as he was holding the end after the 3 wraps. I put on my harness, clipped into the cord, and jumped off, and my feet touched
the ground where Sonia is standing.
After I quit bouncing, I droped the rope from my bag, as I was already on a streight8 repelling beaner, the same one you see above.
I repelled the rest of the way down. All that took 30 minutes. When the tention was off the cord, he pulled the cord up, and I met him at the truck.
We went home, and I designed a mount to bolt to the concrete beam under the bridge, and we were jumping there for about 2 years.
Soon we had 30 or more friends showing up every week, on Teusday night. Everyone who wanted to jump, made at lest one jump.
Then someone took notice and the fire department showed up. I was like Oh No! I told a few friends to go find out what they want,
while I roll everything up. By the time they were walking around with us, everything was put up, and they thought there was an accident.
We said no we just were hangging out, at 2am down in the ditch talking. The checked everyone for drinking, and were really surprized
we were not drinking, and then left. I did not allow any alcohol, and no one could be drinking, or leave any trash behind, so we are not
making a mess. After that I told everyone we must quit for a few months. I never had so many people there again. Just 5 or 6 on random days.
The Mount is still there today, and if you look close you will see the 6 ft rope with big knots in it, so I can grab it hangging off the gaurdrail, as I must string the cable
everytime we are going to use it.
I have never shown these images to anyone before, so feel special!
Rocket number 2 the internal chamber was 6 inches in diameter, and I tore it apart, after a few firings, and the chamber grew to 8 inches, and my welds held,
I was amazed I was still alive.
Rocket number 3 as you can see one of the Ion accelerators beside, at the bottom left, plus some changes inside, an this is where they became sucessful.
These were way to complicated, and I had a really hard time getting it apart. I want something I can take apart in say 30 minutes, clean, repair, inspect, and do it with
a few tools.
I am working with close tolerances, and stainless steel has a high creap and warping problem, so I solved those issues for the most part, on 7. and started using b347, instead of 316.
This is a heat treated austeninic Steel with copper in it. I also changed the whole structure, as all the framing pipes are gone, and I would call the new design,
a lenear accelerator, with a catalytic Hybred rocket, as one of it's thrust resouces.
Rocket number 5 Rocket four and seven were the best, and I did not take pictures, because I planned to keep those secret, and only took these images of 2, 3, 6,
because I thought to cut them up, and make something else, or accent the number 7 rocket, but weight is the issue, as my parachute system is only for 1000lbs.
I really must stay at 500 lbs, so I can dump the feul, and even the payload, if I have an emergency. Me and the suit weigh 300lbs, so with a passenger,
I will have 1100 lbs. they all seems to keep getting heavier over time. I see the center tube is gone, as I used that piece on 7.
Rocket number 6 I started designing more a backpack version, weight 65lbs 5000lbs of thrust, as long as the fuel lasted. I never pushed it to 5000, as I only needed 1500 lbs of
thrust just to make it fly.
My whole ship weighs 500 lbs, and would lift 2000lbs of fuel to lift 2000 lbs to space, and that is why I needed 5000lbs of thrust. I looked for the most
fuel efficiency, so if I see flames comming out the bottom, I was wasting fuel. I want to ues all the heat to accelerate the incoming atoms of what ever, and thehugh amount of hydrogen between earth and space about 150,000 to 500,000 ft,
plus the dust to the highest speed I can before I let go of it. These are closed chamber-open chamber rockets. Any hydrocarbon, or even carbonmonoxide will run these.
Seaweed and saltwater in what I am using now, and I make a H2 and O2 monofuel, and cool the burn with CO. I can crash this full of fuel and it will not burn.
The only moving parts are the valve and fuel. I have changed from this design, and my ion tube and plasma beam are pushed down the same tube, and is the center of my rocket
with the fuel stage pushed into this tube, but seperated, as to not disrupt the Plasma beam. I can pour marbles in the top, and they will exit the botton like bullets.
Also these are all catalytic rockets. This is like a giant EDM and water jet cutter, with a 1.125 orifice, but with focusing, and accelerator windings down the pipe.
I keep to the 1.125 oriface, so my calculations are easier.
liquid "Siliconsilioxene" cooled computer I made in 1997
My Sapce suit. I am a materials expert and inventor of my heat shields. I am a materials expert and inventor of my heat shields. I work with ceramics, carbon foam, Barium sulfate BaSo4, Kapton, Viton, Kevlar, nylon, 316,
b347, Ti, W, Cu, Erythritol, Ammonium Phosphate ( (NH4)3PO4), epoxy, Teflon, PEEK, Natural Rubber, Butadiene, Silicon, Chrystal and glass, Polycarbonates, ,a few more.
This thing is strapped to my back, so kinda important I control the heat, it just cannot weigh anything.
I make a sort of paint and glue. These are both one a rubber glue, and another an acrylic base.
It just depends on if it must withstand salt water, steem, dry heat, wind, vibration, impact, be VO-94 rated, and a list of other problems,
like what are we attatching to.
one machine I ran at Carroll Insterments
Hydrogen maker
Ozone maker, cool story about this! Maybe be one day I will share this.
Let me tell you a story:
I was helping a friend with his house, and I was moving brick in a wheel barrel from inside the cattleguard to the outside of the cattleguard.
The horses followed me everywhere. Stood there and watched.
One time I am retuning with the empty wheel barrel, and the house did not move, and I bumped the horse. And I went about 3 steps, and thought that was weird.
I turned and looked back, and the horse had it's hoof stuck in the cattleguard. I walked back, and looked close, the house was in trouble!
I was alone, no one to call. I looked at the horse, and explained the situation, and what we need to do, and this must work, or we will both die...
I explained that we must move your foot back the other direction. I am going to pick you up, and move you that direction, and move you.
Holding the horses front leg, I got under the horse with my back and legs, and just supported the horse, as I could see him getting weak. I was not pushing hard,
just tried to get the horse to start moving the other direction, as the grate gets wider, (going this direction was disaster).
I was getting tied, and 30 minutes have gone by, and I am still holding up the horse, and it was getting very dark the sun has set now. Then the owner drives up right
behind the house with his lights on???, and the horse is getting jumpy, but still hanging on...
I quickly explain the situation to my friend, and he turns off his lights, and comes to the front of the horse.
At this point both me and the horse know we are going to do something pretty quick, because we are both getting tired.
I explain I will pick up the horse, and push his leg that way, and you push the horse that way when I lift.
Ready, “YES” ...123GO.. and the horse pulled his hoof free, and jumped away. That was a close call!
The horse really showed his gratitude the next day, I could tell the horse understood what was at stake. This was a really big horse, like 1500 lbs. Not a good idea to
lift a horse, if it is stuck in cattleguard. I can lift a lot of weight, but a horse is to much.
That is some of the complicated things I have done in my life, and how I solved them. I would love to hear from you, send me an email.
This one deer keeps coming in my home and has eaten my plants, and is getting in my bed. This time I came home, and the deer got tangled in my sheets,
and was trying to jump through my mirrored walls. I do that sometimes as well, because it looks like you can go that way, these mirrors make it very confusing.
This is the chat I had with the deer friend. I did not keep her tied very long, about 5 minutes, as I did not want to stop blood curculation to her feet.
The ropes were tight, but not that tight, but just to be sure, I let her go after I made it clear she needs to find another place to sleep.
One more story...
In 1998 was driving to inspect my jobsites on a Friday, and I see a money bag in the middle of the road. i stopped and picked it up, and it
was full of money. I thought what a find! I got to my next jobsite, and I looked in the money bag... and I find a deposit slip, and it
is on my bank. I was going to the bank anyway, I decided to do it myself. I first told the teller, I need to make a deposit, and I
handed her the bag, and she looked in it and at the deposit slip, then asked "Where did you get this"? I said, "I found it in the road",
she laughed, and made the $787 deposit. I get a call from Olga, the owner of Irving Tan and Spa, thanking me, and gave me a life time membership.
